But the disciples tried to send them away, thinking Jesus was far too busy and important for children.<\/p>\n  <p>Jesus was not pleased with that at all. \u201cLet the little children come to me,\u201d He said, \u201cand do not stop them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.\u201d Then He gathered the children close and welcomed every one.<\/p>\n  <p>Jesus showed that children are precious to God &mdash; never too small, too young, or too unimportant for His love.
