The Story Behind the Picture
One day, parents began bringing their little children to Jesus, hoping He would place His hands on them and bless them. But the disciples tried to send them away, thinking Jesus was far too busy and important for children.
Jesus was not pleased with that at all. “Let the little children come to me,” He said, “and do not stop them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Then He gathered the children close and welcomed every one.
Jesus showed that children are precious to God — never too small, too young, or too unimportant for His love. He has all the time in the world for you, just as you are.
