The Story Behind the Picture
Peter was a fisherman who worked hard on the lake. One morning, after fishing all night long, he had caught nothing at all — his nets were completely empty.
Then Jesus told him to row out and let down the nets one more time. Peter was tired, but he trusted Jesus and tried again. This time the net filled with so many fish that it almost began to break!
Peter was amazed. Then Jesus said something wonderful: “From now on you will fish for people.” Peter left his boat to follow Jesus and help bring others to God. Jesus still calls ordinary people today to do extraordinary things with Him.
“From now on you will be catching people.” Luke 5:10
