The Story Behind the Picture
In the very beginning, there was nothing at all — until God spoke. Day by day He filled the world with wonderful things: light and darkness, sky and sea, and dry land bursting with plants and trees.
He set the sun to shine by day and the moon and stars to sparkle at night. He filled the oceans with fish, the sky with birds, and the land with every kind of animal. Then, last of all, God made people — and He loved them most of all.
When God looked at everything He had made, He saw that it was very good. The Bible tells us that Jesus was there at the very beginning too, for it was through Him that all things were made. The same God who flung the stars into space made you on purpose and with great love.
